Friendship Bangladesh

Friendship is an international Social Purpose Organisation guided by a vision of a world where people, especially the hard-to-reach and unaddressed, have equal opportunities to live with dignity and hope.  

Since 2002, Friendship has been working in Bangladesh’s most climate-vulnerable areas, from the remote riverine chars in the north to the cyclone-prone coastal belt. Through an integrated adaptation model spanning healthcare, education, inclusive citizenship, sustainable economic development, climate action, and cultural preservation, Friendship delivers impact at scale and has earned global recognition, including the prestigious Earthshot Prize in 2025 

Through its participation in the collective cycle of the Climate Action Accelerator in Asia, Friendship Bangladesh is committed to moving towards a sustainable, resilient and low-carbon development model, while strengthening its action in favour of populations and communities and its capacity to deal with the consequences of global warming.
