Water

Half of the world’s population could be living in areas facing water scarcity by as early as 2025. (2) Water pollution has risen across three continents, placing hundreds of millions of people at risk of contracting life-threatening diseases like cholera and typhoid. (3) However, solutions exist to better preserve water resources, both in quantity and quality, and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, often at low cost.
