Development Organization of The Rural Poor (DORP)

About DORP

Development Organisation of the Rural Poor (DORP) is a national non-governmental organisation that has been working in the development sector for nearly four decades in Bangladesh. The organisation’s experience spans a diverse range of fields and areas of action, rather than being confined to any single focus. DORP maintains strong networks with various departments of the Government of Bangladesh, as well as national and international NGOs, regional forums, and development partners. The organisation operates through a three-tier management framework, with a workforce of more than 500 staff at both field and central levels, across 50+ offices nationwide, all overseen by its Head Office in Dhaka.
