New initiative launched to scale up climate action

The current situation?

Stabilising the climate requires a radical change of scale. So far, climate action has largely been driven by national policies and coalitions of cities and businesses. While such actions are essential, they cannot prevent the worst effects of global warming without commitment from society as a whole.
