Communities of practice

  • Partners
  • Community

Our communities of practice provide a space for our partners to exchange ideas, share best practices, and support each other in developing and implementing climate and environmental roadmaps

At Climate Action Accelerator, we aim to integrate organisations into a global community focused on action and to share climate solutions considered as a global common good.

The aim of our communities of practice is to accelerate the adoption of climate action by organisations, encouraging them to be champions of change. By becoming a group of exemplary and inspiring players, organisations can influence their peers, networks and sector of activity to amplify the adoption of their good practices.

Our Community of Practice and Action

Our Community of Practice and Action supports organisations in implementing concrete climate action within their structures, and develops a shared, openly accessible common platform of sustainable solutions and approaches to address the climate crisis.

By joining, you become part of a group of inspiring and committed organisations working together to accelerate climate action.

Our Community of Practice and Action provides:

  • A network mobilised to support concrete climate action

  • A space for collaboration, experience-sharing and learning around climate and environmental solutions

  • Individual mentoring with direct access to the Accelerator’s experts

  • Regular events to showcase your work and facilitate peer learning

  • Practical guidance and materials developed by the Accelerator with its partners and external experts

Partners joining our community engage in the following commitments:

  • Adoption of a science-based decarbonisation pathway, in line with the Paris Agreement (reaching net zero by 2050, implying 60% emissions reduction by 2035)

  • Transparency while sharing results and progress

  • Participation in knowledge-sharing in an open-source community

  • Collective influence through the promotion of the initiative within the organisation’s network
