DEMTOU Humanitaire

DEMTOU is neither an acronym nor an acronym; it stands for virtue and help. This word concentrates the five values that the organisation strives to bring to the most vulnerable on a daily basis through its multifaceted actions. Created in Yaoundé in July 2016, DEMTOU is an organisation governed by Cameroonian law, without distinction of any kind. Its aim is to provide assistance to people affected by natural disasters, man-made crises, epidemics and to communities in post-crisis periods. It is also committed to community development.

Through its participation in the second collective cycle of the Climate Action Accelerator in Africa, DEMTOU Humanitaire is committed to moving towards a sustainable, resilient and low-carbon development model, while strengthening its action in favour of populations and communities and its capacity to deal with the consequences of global warming.
