Roadmap monitoring framework

In the early stages of decarbonisation, emission reductions may not follow a clear or predictable path, which can feel discouraging. Often, results are initially modest, making it hard to demonstrate immediate results, in particular for donors and beneficiaries.

This framework addresses this challenge and helps organisations operationalise emissions reduction commitments and demonstrate that solutions deliver the intended results. It is based on a threefold monitoring approach: evaluating overall decarbonisation progress, monitoring the implementation of solutions, and assessing changes in processes and practices.
