Future of Hospitals Initiative
The Future of Hospitals and Health Systems initiative was launched by the Geneva Sustainability Centre (GSC) of the International Hospital Federation (IHF), the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Aga Khan Development Network to provide a platform for its members to exchange knowledge and provide networking opportunities across the health sector. It brings together global leaders to envision hospitals of the future in the face of climate risks, while improving hospital’s resilience, sustainable practices, and innovation. Our work as part of this initiative helps hospitals adopt low-emission technologies and adapt to increasing health risks posed by climate change and the broader planetary emergency.
